Birds flying to the Black Moon

This interior is built on contrasts — darkness and light, strength and delicacy, solid architectural forms and objects that seem almost weightless.

Deep black surfaces, natural stone, textured walls and dark wood create a dramatic, almost monochromatic foundation. Rather than using colour, the space reveals itself through materials, reflections and light. Glossy glass sits alongside tactile surfaces, while warm integrated lighting brings depth to the dark architecture and changes its character throughout the day.

Light becomes an essential material in the project. It traces the geometry of the kitchen, softly illuminates textured surfaces and creates a warm glow against the predominantly dark palette.

The sculptural details bring another dimension to the interior. A composition of birds suspended in the air introduces movement and a sense of freedom, while illuminated wall objects, art and carefully selected lighting turn functional spaces into something more atmospheric and personal.

Despite its strong visual character, this is first and foremost a home. Behind the dramatic aesthetic is a carefully considered space designed for everyday life — a place where architecture, art and functionality coexist naturally.

The result is an interior that does not reveal everything at once. It changes with the light, invites you to look closer and discover the details — creating an atmosphere that is dark, tactile, intimate and unexpectedly alive.
